DOES VIRTUALVOCATIONS CHARGE APPLICANTS TO APPLY FOR JOBS?
Businesses that hire telecommute
employees often run into the problem of receiving hundreds of applicant
responses for just one position, with a large percentage of them not
even close to meeting the qualifications they've specified in the job
listing. Let's face it, there are millions of people out there
clamoring for a work at home position, and most will apply to jobs for
which they have very little, or no experience.
VirtualVocations has found that applicant experience and responses are
far more likely to fit the employer's criteria when the APPLICANT is
spending the money to apply, instead of the employer spending money to
list the job. VirtualVocations charges the applicants a fee on a
weekly or monthly basis to apply for jobs. It is much more likely
that a person will not spend money to apply for a job when they do not have
the relevant experience. This will greatly reduce the number of
unqualified applicant responses you receive as well as the time it
takes to look through the responses. VirtualVocations realizes
this is a unique situation specifically for the telecommuting
community, which is why we have opted to charge the applicants rather
than the employer.
