Job Summary

An independent review organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Neurosurgery Medical Review Physician.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Reading and analyzing medical information, including criteria based medical charts, UR nursing notes and clinical criteria
• Providing objective, first-level determinations

Skills and Requirements Include:

• Certified with ABMS in Neurosurgery and Spine
• Must be in Active Practice, teaching medicine or treating patients for at least 8 hours per month
• 5 years’ experience providing care to patients in a clinical setting
• Ability to type at least 30-40 words per minute
