A nonpartisan, nonprofit, mission-focused organization is searching for a person to fill their position for a Teleworking Professional Development Specialist in Santa Ana, California.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Supporting kindergarten teachers professional development in early mathematics through on-site facilitation
• Participating in research activities, including collection and scoring of data on teachers curricular implementation and teaching practices
• Ordering, constructing, and supervising preparation of mathematics curriculum materials and child assessment kits

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in special education, child development, early childhood or elementary education, or related field
• Experience working on early intervention projects
• Experience providing professional development to kindergarten teachers
• Experience teaching and implementing content-based curricula in early elementary school
