Freelance Graphic Design

Do you know who Paul Rand and Jan Tschichold are? Can you tell the difference between good and bad design? Are you good at what you do?

We are an award-winning graphic design studio specializing in identity, print, and web design and programming. We are always on the lookout for creative, driven, and talented people. Currently we are looking for freelance graphic designers / web programmers to help us with small to medium size projects. There is also possible more elaborate future work for the right candidates.

The pay is at $15/hr to start, $20/hr after a short trial period. Sometimes there is lots of work and other times it's quiet.

Graphic design person has:

· Online portfolio
· Love for typography
· Ability to take direction / critique / comments
· Strong verbal & written communication skills
· Ability to handle deadlines
· Ability to manage projects from start to finish
· Must be a pro at mechanical / pre-press file preparation for various types of output / offset printing, digital printing, large format files, etc.
· Design education
· 2+ years of experience
· Fully setup Mac system with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and so on
· Attention to detail, attention to detail, and attention to detail

Web developer has:

· Samples of code (please include only your own work. Describe what you did and how long it took.)
· Ability to take direction / critique / comments
· Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, Javascript, CSS, HTML / XHTML. Flash is a plus
· 2+ years of experience
· Attention to detail, attention to detail, and attention to detail
