Telecommute Marketing Research Assistant
WooMeOver is based in Silicon Valley, CA. Work can be performed from home with requirement of occasional face-to-face meetings in the Bay Area. There is no compensation available for travel costs, so please reside near the Silicon Valley area.
JOB TYPE AND COMPENSATION
** Part time contractor, approximately 10-20 hours a week. The project is to commence immediately upon hiring and will last for 5 – 8 weeks or more.
** $10/hr and up hourly rate, depending on experience with potential for bonus if job performance is outstanding.
REQUIREMENTS
** BA or BS degree in Business, MIS or related fields preferred. Or currently in college on a degree plan in the track of Business, MIS or related fields.
** Excellent written and verbal communication skills
** Strong proven analytical skills to sortout internet data collected
** Must be a web-surfing ninja well versed in the social networking space, and an avid social network user of the following websites and products: Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, YouTube, Daily Motion, Metacafe, Twitter, Flickr, Picasa Albums, Google Reader, Google Docs.
** Online shopping experience in fashion and jewelry is desirable. Your thorough understanding and ability to articulate the user experiences of using these sites will be a plus.
** Knowledge of Web analytics highly desirable.
** Must be a motivated self-starter with diligent organizational skills and proficient with standard office software: Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
** Must have your own computer and a reliable internet connection. Must have own transportation, with a California driver’s license.
** Must be 18 years of age or above.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
** Research key subject matter, industries, and websites, with various assignments focused on the social networking space.
