Graphic Designer - Television (Home Based)
Overview:
* The graphic designer position for Txtstation requires an individual who can produce quality graphics for our Txtstation TV product as well as mockups for the Txtstation sales team.
Main responsibilities:
* In charge of designing graphics using photoshop and After Effect for U.S. broadcasters, stadium jumbotrons and websites
* Create simple print documents for illustration purposes for our sales team and our prospective clients.
* Responsible, on average, for 15 still graphics and 1 dynamic live graphic per week
Skills required:
* Produce quality graphics in a timely manner
* Great time management and organization skills
* Ongoing communication with New Zealand and US teams
* Firm understanding of the television design standards in the US (safe zones, pixel flicker, key and fill setup, fonts, ratios for NTSC, widescreen and HDTV and simple animations with alpha channels)
* Basic web design and print knowledge (reduce file sizes and use correct file types such as bitmaps, PNG and jpegs)
* Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CS, After Effects 6 and Inca Template
