JOB DESCRIPTION

OpenCircle is seeking a creative developer specializing in PHP, MySQL and PostgreSQL to develop PHP applications for Drupal, an open-source web based content management system. (Training in Drupal can be provided if candidate has all other necessary qualifications.) We are looking for someone who works well on cross-functional teams, learns new skills quickly, and thrives on challenges.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop PHP/PostgreSQL applications for Drupal

• Produce well-written SQL statements and stored-proceedures

• Develop Web Services to enhance our platform

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years professional experience developing PHP & HTML

• 3+ years professional experience with PGSQL

• 3+ years professional experience with MySQL

• Apache HTTP server configuration and installation

• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent documentation, communication and organizational skills

• Able to start immediately

• Able to work onsite or offsite and attend onsite meetings to coordinate efforts with the design team

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with AJAX, Java, JavaScript, CSS and Zend Studio

• Professional development experience in Drupal or similar CMS

• Open-Source development experience

COMPENSATION

• Full Time position

• Hourly rate is competitive and dependent on experience
