Home Based Web Marketing Expert SEM/SEO

Can you tell the difference between Vampire Weekend and Weekend at Bernie's? Do you have your page rank tattooed on your forehead? Do you like to spread the love of good content to the internet world?

National alternative newspaper chain is looking for a social marketing expert who has experience generating gazillions of page views based on quality editorial content. We'd prefer the candidate live in the Phoenix area; however, the right person may telecommute.

Candidate needs to:

• Be a social networking fiend.

• Pride themselves on their ability to get stories popular on aggregator and social media sites.

• Enjoy dealing with a wide range of content—from politics, to music, to movies, to pop culture.

• Like a fast-paced environment

• Be both clever, funny, and intense.

Regular tasks will include tracking/analyzing traffic due to changes both internal and external, delivering monthly performance reviews of SEM strategies, reaching out to online partners, and staying ahead of current search and SEM trends.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS

• At least 2 years of experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently

• Bachelor's degree

Along with your resume, please respond with how you feel alternative newspaper websites and blogs can succeed in an online world, and how you can help. And tell us your favorite 80s cartoon character, and why.
