JOB DESCRIPTION: SOLUTIONS ACCOUNT DIRECTOR, (Evangelizes / Architects WEB-Based Solutions & Leads Client Relationships) – LOS ANGELES AREA

PermissionTV, the world’s most flexible platform for delivering innovative and interactive video experiences on the Web is seeking two creative and technically-oriented Solutions Account Directors based in the Los Angeles Area to craft, manage and propose service delivery engagements to potential customers. The PermissionTV Solutions group works with clients to evangelize, concept, create and deliver innovative online video applications for media companies, publishers, brands and agencies.

PermissionTV is a well funded, venture-backed start-up software company with a team comprised of media leaders and software and advertising Internet pioneers who are passionate about driving innovation in the emerging realm of online video. We work with a variety of clients such as Fox, Adobe, Intercontinental Hotels, Bob Vila, Toyota Scion, and more. Founded in 2004, PermissionTV is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts and operates in New York and Los Angeles.

The chosen candidate will be an innovative professional with a strong background in concepting and delivering WEB-based solutions and driving sales activities through a consultative selling approach. In this position the candidate will be responsible for presenting PermissionTV capabilities, developing proposals and statements of work, and developing long term client relationships. The Solutions Account Director will work closely with the Director of Delivery to transfer service delivery projects once the customer contracts have been signed. This position will report to the VP of Client Services.

REQUIREMENTS

• Concept, scope and propose client solutions which leverage the PermissionTV platform.

• Evangelize the use of the PermissionTV products and services through presentations, trade shows, industry events and blogs.

• Lead the presentation of solutions to Executives and other marketing professionals.

• Gather and organize information needed to prepare for a demo, including customer business requirements, process flows, software capabilities, etc.

• Manage and ensure the proper functioning of demonstration software and computer systems on which they run.

• Function as a PTV product expert to support sales team to prepare and engage in customer meetings, craft solutions, provide input for RFP responses, statements of work, and other related activities.

• Interface with customers to determine project technical requirements and expectations.

• Gather organize and report information from customers to provide input to product management, sales, marketing and customer support and delivery services.

• Build and maintain client relationships and look to up-sell clients on new PTV services and platform features.

• Attend trade shows and industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 - 7 years experience as a Project Manager or Account Director preferably in an interactive agency or Internet consulting company.

• Experience in providing support to sales, as a “technical expert” and/or creative evangelist. Must have excellent group and one-on-one presentation skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in crafting solutions of a technical nature using web-based application development tools (e.g., Content Management, Reporting)

• Skills in user experience design, information architecture or creative direction.

• Experience leading cross-functional, creative and technical team members.

• Extensive use of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project.

• Hands-on experience and familiarity with web-based development and reporting tools.

• BS/BA degree, preference will be given to candidates with a MBA.

Familiarity with the following a plus:

• On-line CRM applications and statistical reporting

• Interactive advertising and marketing applications

• Design tools such as Visio, Illustrator, Photoshop

• XML, HTML or ActionScript programming
