Telecommute Multimedia Specialist

WorldatWork, a compensation, benefits and total rewards professional organization, seeks a multimedia specialist to design, develop, implement and evaluate instructionally sound, innovative and engaging content for online delivery. This newly created position may be based in our Arizona HQ, or may work with colleagues from home via telework arrangements.

The Multimedia Specialist will:

• Design, develop and integrate educational products through a variety of multi-media and classroom based instruction methodologies including web-based, computer-based and print.

• Design, develop and deliver multimedia products, applications and interfaces.

• Design and prototype innovative multimedia solutions, including interfaces, interactions and applications.

• Deliver educational products and programs via audio, video, and mobile technologies.

• Work with project planners, management and customers to define project scope and goals, and identify and document business needs and objectives, problems, usage and other requirements.

• Provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff on technical issues.

• Identify opportunities to continually improve production application performance to support product and program requirements.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Master of Education degree in Instructional Technology, Educational Technology or related field

• 3-5+ yrs instructional design, CBT, WBT, and training development experience.

• Knowledge of and practice with several instructional approaches (web-based, instructor-led, or virtual instructor-led training).

• Previous experience with Authorware, Dreamweaver, Photoshop (or Fireworks), Flash and/or other CBT/WBT software.

• Excellent interpersonal skills: experience working with SMEs, proficient in client needs analysis.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

The ability to work under minimal direction in evaluating needs and requirements for program development is required. Must be creative and able to reset priorities and use resources to meet changing needs and goals.
