Freelance Web Designer

Vision Marketing a Long Island, New York based web design firm is looking for freelance web designers for mostly HTML design. Applicants must work in the United States. Web design firms need NOT apply.

If you are motivated, creative and can turn projects around quickly this may be a perfect opportunity for you! You must be available for to work with our production team at least 15 hours a week between M-F 9-5 (EST) for project direction, etc. Applicant can work on location in Bayport NY or remotely.

APPLICANTS NEED TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:

• Creating web site navigation, look and feel based on specific input from our production management staff

• Designing and developing websites from start to finish

• Developing pages with provided text, photos and graphics

• Editing, updating and expanding existing websites

• Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, Fireworks and/or Photoshop

• An excellent eye for web site design

• A general understanding of usability and conversion principles
