This is a full time salary position that pays 37-41 thousand a year depending on experience, plus medical benefits and 2 weeks paid vacation. We also do profit sharing at the end of the fiscal year. Employees will be considered for an ownership stake in the company after 2 years. We have an office in the Civic Center area of San Francisco but are open to offsite work and creative hours if you are the right fit for this position. The position starts in early September.

We are really, really chill. We are a small, employee-owned company. We have fewer than ten staff, no foundation money, no venture capital and no debt. We value our people over our contracts every day of the week. We believe in workplace democracy and try to make collective decisions about work load, staffing, projects, technical direction, and other things that will directly affect your job, but avoid long nasty meetings where we are wasting your time about things you don't care about.

If you identify as a member of a community that is underrepresented in the political or technology sector, you are especially encouraged to apply for this position. This includes people of color, women, transgendered persons, people born before 1970, people born below 10ºN, people from Hunters Point and people who have been imprisoned or homeless.

Interviews will take place the last week of July for a position starting in early September
