Virtual Technical Support Analyst

Technical Support Analyst

This company is searching for a full-time Technical Support Representative(Account Manager) in the McKinney area to assist with groups conducting large-scale employee benefit enrollments. The position involves extensive customer interaction over the phone and via web conference. Work hours are flexible, and telecommuting is allowed.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Answer in-coming support calls and e-mail messages.

2. Assess customer technical support needs, and handle accordingly.

3. Analyze client-defined business rules and configure system appropriately.

4. Compile employee census information and prepare it for upload.

5. Set up PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat, as required for enrollment.

6. Troubleshoot customer problems, often utilizing web conferencing tools.

7. Assist in setting up employee benefit products in the system.

Skills Needed for this Job:

1) SQL programming experience

2) JavaScript experience

3) Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and PC technology in general

4) Excellent oral and written communication skills

5) Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

6) Working knowledge of HTML.

7) Ability to analyze and solve technical problems.

8) Ability to balance competing priorities on multiple projects.
