Offsite Integrated Marketing/Graphic Designer

Integrated Marketing/Graphic Designer

Schneider Associates (SA), a full-service public relations agency in Boston, is seeking a creative Graphic Designer to work as a freelancer and spearhead the production of collateral materials, including press kits, sales sheets, ads and packaging. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of developing successful materials for consumer public relations and/or advertising campaigns. To be considered, applicants should have a passion for design and the ability to tell a story about a product that motivates consumers to try and buy new products.

We are looking for a self-starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. The chosen candidate will report directly to the Integrated Marketing Manager, and work very closely with the Creative Director.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience working as a designer at an ad agency or graphic design studio

• Experience with creating collateral materials, such as press kits, sales sheets, ads and packaging—web design a plus

• Ability to direct a photo shoot

• Ability to solve problems

• Committed to meeting deadlines

• Must have an obsessive eye for details

• Must have an eye for layout and type treatments

• Strong creativity and resourcefulness

• Exceptional organizational abilities

• Excellent communication skills

• Able to create budgets for projects

The selected candidate will not be required to work on site, but attendance will be occasionally required for meetings. The selected candidate will be compensated on a project-by-project basis, with a separate budget for each assignment.
