Home Based Legal Assistant
$30.00/hr Family law experience and at least Five years experience needed. Person giving contract is a private individual involved in litigation. Not an attorney, not practicing law. Person giving contract has his own attorney and relies solely on him for legal advice. This is an intensive two week assignment for which a paralegal is needed. Paralegal will be independent contractor, providing / giving no legal advice, merely preparing docs, transcribing, updating a database, doing basic research. Many phone calls. Telecommunting preferred, but paralegal must have high speed copier and printer (laser not desk jet). Excel experience a plus. Must be able to work with stressed out people. Person giving contract and all others in contact are, however, always professional and respectful.
