Drive user-centered designs and support user research and usability testing to help improve the product through every stage of the product lifecycle. Review and analyze user research and usability reports, for use in determining best UI design solutions. Apply the best design aesthetics under tight deadlines, while effectively managing trade-offs between business needs and customer benefit.Develop visual design concepts, style guides, and product attributes; iconography design and production. Create overall user interaction, including page flows, navigation, error handling. Present designs to cross-functional teams and negotiate trade-offs.

Develop prototypes and production level code using HTML, CSS, AJAX, XML/XSL, JSP, JavaScript.

Requirements:

-- Extensive experience designing consumer website, including Web 2.0. Conceptual thinker with excellent problem solving skills.

-- Passionate about great design with a unique with strong and flexible skills in visual design and interaction design, strong understanding of design trends and a desire to taken on new challenges.

-- Articulate design concepts and prototypes, with the ability to define your "vision" for the project in a variety of ways…written, visually and verbally.

-- A mastery of Web 2.0 standards, a deep understanding of fundamental design disciplines and principals, solid experience with typography, composition, animation, color, and interactive/animated elements for scalable dynamic interfaces.

-- Expert skill level with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML/XSL, JSP. Flash a plus.

-- A professional portfolio of work that demonstrates process, design, and shows a commanding knowledge of user-centered design projects is expected.

-- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently as well as on a team.
