Work from Home Contract Tech Writer
As a contract Technical Writer, you will be responsible for updating
print documentation for an enterprise-wide application for our next
minor release. This includes documenting new features and updating
installation, upgrade, administrator and user guides and creating two
new quick reference cards. All documents are in Microsoft Word. This
position is onsite to start, with the option of working offsite as it
becomes feasible.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
The successful candidate will possess:
- Expert skills in Microsoft Word.
- BS/BA in English or a technical subject, or equivalent
- A minimum of five years experience as a technical writer in a
software company (or equivalent contract experience).
- Excellent project management, time estimation and English written and verbal communication skills.
