Offsite Web Drag and Drop

We are building a "Yearbook AdBuilder" for one of our customers,

www.coffeepond.com

One piece of this involves the customer uploading an image. The image can be

of any size.

What we need to do is to provide the customer with the following capability

on the web page:

(1) If the image is larger than the pre-determined size, the image will

appear with a dotted line superimposed over it (see attached).

The customer can drag the dotted frame anywhere over the picture OR they can

"grab" the lower right corner & move it diagonally upper left. The original

aspect ratio will be retained, they cannot distort it. They can do either

combination of these until the picture is resized as they wish and/or the

frame is moved over the portion they want.

(2) If the image is smaller than the predetermined size, the image will

appear centered (both horizontally & vertically) in the dotted frame. The

customer can then move the frame (as it step 1) until it is positioned where

they want it. There will be a previous & next button. Clicking previous

brings them back to where they can load another image. Clicking next will

finish the moving and capture the image that is then inside the dotted lines

for the next step.
