Freelance Administrative Assistant/Light Bookkeeping

Part-time position available in a small Los Gatos company specializing in designing & building high-end custom homes. We are offering a 20 hour work week with flex hours. Some tasks can be performed from home with your PC and internet. This position pays $20 per hour. There are no benefits at this time.

The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in the following software programs:

1) Excel 2003

2) Word 2003

3) Outlook 2007

4) Quickbooks Pro 2005 / 2008

You should work well in rush situations and be able to self manage time and priorities. You must have good communication skills and be prepared to talk to customers and contractors alike. You will need good running transportaion to drive to the bank and post office.

Duties include but are not limited to:

1) A/P & A/R

2) Bank reconciliations

3) Make bank deposits

4) Contract management

5) Filing

6) PDA Management

7) Light phones

8) Basic office duties; file, fax, copies, etc.

9) Print and assemble plans for distribtution

10) Prepare and distribute bid packets

11) Pick up mail at post office box
