At Home Part-Time Web Designer
The Web Designer is responsible for day-to-day creation, update, and maintenance of web pages and content on the City of Nashua’s Intranet and Internet web sites. This position shall design, plan, and implement the layout, visual appearance, and usability of the web sites. The Web Designer will also deliver direct support and services to staff members by advising, assisting, and training users in the design, development, and maintenance of web site content and functionality.
This is a permanent part-time position (20 hrs per week) with flexible scheduling, and work location. Ideal for working parent or other who desires flexible working arrangements.
Mimimum requirements include:
• Associates Degree in MIS or Graphic Design or related field
• At least one year relevant work experience (combination of equivalent education and experience will be considered)
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under deadlines
• Experience/training in web scripting or coding in HTML, CSS, and Java (Flash a plus)
• Experienced in drawing and photo editing tools
