Virtual Web Production

The Gig:

BuzzBee is seeking a Web Production Freelancer/Contractor to build an ongoing relationship with to support the execution of our Web projects. The work typically assists with Web projects that are both short-term with high-pressure deadlines and long-term involving many moving parts and stakeholders. He/she will be responsible for helping with the production work on internal client portals and Web sites.

The One Who Implements the Vision:

BuzzBee Web Production Contractors are responsible for taking the direction from the project lead to create or update a Web project, actualizing their vision. You will be accountable for meeting the projects’ requirements and ensuring completion on time, within cost and to required quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

    * Creation and updating of SharePoint sites. This includes updating/adding Web parts, creating new pages, and modifying site permissions.

    * Creating and updating HTML code on Web sites.

    * Communicating with project team effectively regarding the status of production work.

    * Publishing content using internal database publishing tool.

Candidates for Freelance Web Production must bring:

    * 3-5 years Web production experience, but will consider others based on closely matched skills and/or technology industry experience

    * Experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and HTML coding

    * Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    * Technology industry experience preferred

    * The One Who Implements the Vision – This position is often involved in the final stages of a Web project, taking the vision for the project and making it happen. Your ability to use your technical know-how to anticipate and solve problems is important for success in this job.

    * SharePoint Whiz – You have comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint capabilities and can make recommendations on how to implement a Web plan.

    * Team Contribution – You actively participate and share information as a committed member of a team and work with others to help complete goals and objectives.
