Work from Home Faculty Specialist

If you are looking for that perfect telecommuting opportunity, you've come to the right place. Grand Canyon University is currently seeking a Faculty Specialist to participate in the development and delivery of faculty training workshops and programs.

This position is a telecommuting position, therefore out of state and in state candidates are encouraged to apply.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

* Develops and delivers training workshops for new and existing faculty to maximize service quality, effectiveness and efficiency. This includes identifying and assessing training and development needs for all faculty members.

* Responds, investigates and resolves faculty and student issues in conjunction with University policies and procedures. Maintains a positive relationship with students and faculty by ensuring customer satisfaction with problem resolution.

* Administers faculty mentorship program by developing mentorship materials, training faculty mentors, as well as monitoring mentorships in accordance with University guidelines and standards.

* Administers faculty peer review program by developing peer review materials, as well as training, coaching and mentoring peer reviewers in conjunction with University guidelines and standards.

* Provides guidance and support to Faculty Services personnel as it relates to faculty scheduling and remediation activities.

* Participates in the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies and procedures as they relate to the training and development of faculty.

* Other duties as assigned.

Skills/ Requirements

* Education and/or Experience: Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent.

* In order to successfully perform the duties of this position, the candidate needs to have online teaching and / or ground teaching experience.

* Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
