Future Plus, a part of Future US, Inc., is seeking a creative freelance writer to create and develop fun, interesting, inspirational, and aspirational content for a custom publication designed for girls from the ages of 8-12. Content will also leverage a line of lifestyle-oriented videogames marketed towards tween-age girls.

Responsibilities include:

• Understand the type of content that 8-12 year-old girls would like to read

• Generating creative articles, quizzes, and other content that appeals to 8-12 year old girls

• Working with internal editorial and art team to brainstorm ideas for content

• Tailoring content to requirements of the client

• Meeting tight deadlines

Currently, this is a short-term freelance position only and does not require you to be on-site, but the potential exists for the terms to be extended depending on the success of the project.

Musts:

• Experience writing for the tween girl market

• Broad understanding of tween girl culture

• Knowledge and appreciation for videogames is a plus!

• Know what OMG means

• Be endlessly creative and a good, clean writer

• Be able to follow instructions
