Virtual Project Manager
We are growing and looking for a full-time project manager with direct experience in managing workflow for media production and technology projects. This position requires project planning, resource scheduling, and deadline management across multiple client and internal projects, including print, interactive, and broadcast. The right candidate will have education and expertise in project management tools and processes, and demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, client-centered work environment.

Key Tasks:
• Produce formal project plans, assign resources, and track and report progress to relevant parties.
• Manage project teams to enable progress from one phase to the next.
• Anticipate and troubleshoot issues, challenges, and obstructions that threaten project completion.
• Manage interaction between project teams and clients to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
• Assist in building project estimates, work statements, and proposals for pitching new business.
• Define project scope, timelines, and pricing with creative and technical leads.
• Manage vendor, contractor, and strategic partner communications as required to complete project deliverables.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3 years experience in project management
• Experience in advertising or marketing agency a plus
• Familiar with managing print, web, other media projects
• Skilled in project management software
• High-energy, organized, precise multi-tasker
• Inspires a sense of urgency and camaraderie
• Expert in client relations
• Communicates well in person and in writing
• Comfortable with Mac OS
How do I apply?
This is a fulltime, dedicated, independent contract position or possible regular fulltime employment.
The company runs as a virtual office with physical locations in Vermont and North Carolina.
Workers are not location specific.
You will work from your own location and travel as needed to client sites about 20% of the time. For immediate consideration, include a project plan sample for a project you have managed and your salary requirements.
