At Home Graphic/Web Designer

JAM Communications, an established, smaller-sized DC marketing and creative services agency is looking for a talented in-house graphic designer and freelancers with experience working in both the worlds of print and web.

Flash InDesign and Photoshop expertise required. Work with leading technology companies, associations, publishers and other organizations to deliver a range of creative deliverables, including direct mail, collateral, web sites, email, banner ads, transit and display ads and more.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in graphic design or a related field with at least two years of work experience, preferable in an agency or other client-driven, deadline-oriented environment.

You need to arrive with a great attitude, ideas, the ability to listen and learn and work both independently and collaboratively with the account team and writers.

Be prepared to assign work and provide oversight and direction to a pool of established freelance designers. Participate in some client meetings and new business presentations as deemed appropriate by the account team.

You need to possess exceptional design and technical skills, including advanced knowledge of Indesign, HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash, and FTP software. Knowledge of Javascript is preferred.
