Powerpop Comics is looking for cartoonists.

We need people who can work quickly and efficiently to produce high quality, full color sequential graphics on a deadline. We are looking for skilled and reliable artists with experience in cartooning.

Base pay is $1,500 per assignment (the equivalent of a single issue of a comic book), plus 10% commission and additional bonus for reaching targeted deadlines.

We are interested in all visual styles, with a preference for cartooning skills over surface detail. We value strong draftsmanship, bold design, and clear storytelling. Photoshop and Illustrator skills are a plus.

If you are accepted for an assignment, you will be given a project to complete and a timeline for its completion. This is a contract job, but the right candidates could see steady work, with further residual income earning opportunities.

A limited number of assignments are available. Applications will be accepted until Friday, August 29, 2008.
