JOB MISSION SUMMARY
Marketing researches, plans, creates, promotes and delivers high quality, affordably priced health insurance/health benefits plans. It plays an important part in understanding customer needs, and attracting new business as well as in retaining customers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Aetna Product Marketing group is looking for a marketing professional to manage our CRM/database marketing as well as marketing analysis of email, direct mail, banner/print advertising and telemarketing for Aetna Pharmacy. This is a WORK AT HOME position.
- Supports development and production of communication materials.
- Evaluate and report measurement of return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities.
- Apply database marketing skills towards delivering targeted marketing campaigns.
- Consult with and advise the marketing team on customer and marketing history data, campaign audiences, and best approach to achieving marketing goals during the campaign planning process.
- Ensure that campaign/program/activity details are captured accurately to provide data for analysis.
- Data analysis techniques to analyze conversion rates and cost of acquisition.
- Apply analytic insights to business practices and ability to synthesize the takeaways into actionable recommendations to optimize marketing campaigns that will increase customer usage of products.
- Establish ongoing monitoring and tracking tools to improve timeliness of feedback and accelerate impact for insights.
- Tracks and monitors progress of multiple assigned projects against timelines and key milestones.
- Assists with print and distribution activities for the department.
- Assumes responsibility for leading/managing all aspects of a project and or program such as planning, coordination and development.
- Manage relationships across business segments are multiple functional areas.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
- 4 year college degree
- 2+ years experience of combined experience with database marketing and marketing analysis experience including email, direct mail, banner/print advertising and telemarketing.
- An understanding of customer data, data flows and data marts and the logic behind database structure and reporting.
- Superior analytical skills. Must be detail orientated with an ability to recognize and resolve potential data anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to work collaboratively within work teams
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work in an environment that is fast paced, often with changing priorities
- Expert in Access and Excel and the ability to manipulate/analyze large amounts of data
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and MSWord; adept at learning new applications and tools; SAS experience a plus
