NGHN Electronic Health Records Project Manager (Telecommute)
NGHN is seeking an energetic, motivated and well organized individual with excellent organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills to join their organization as an Electronic Health Record Project Manager. NGHN is an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer. Position Description The Electronic Health Record Project Manager will serve as the main contact for members. In accordance with the membership agreement, this position will manage and coordinate all needed resources within NGHN to successfully execute and implement the NextGen practice management and electronic medical records solutions and the NGHN Frameworks. The Project Manager will plan and execute the implementation along with significant coordination and interaction with the customer project team responsibilities. This includes all components of the project life cycle; planning, estimating, analysis, development, testing, user acceptance and implementation. The work will involve developing relationships with customers, cross functional collaboration with implementation team members and communicating project status to management.
Successful management and delivery of multiple customer facing projects; on time and on budget. Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Develop and manage project timelines, requirements, specifications, prototypes, and other documentation necessary to successfully produce or upgrade templates, designs and applications.
Ensure completion of deliverables by assignees and adherence to timelines. Tracks and reports on milestones and timelines. Monitor implementation progress against plan and proactively identify needed adjustments in schedule, resources andor scope to ensure successful implementation. Communicate regularly with supervisor regarding the status of each project and obtain guidance and approval as required to advance each member’s implementation.
Maintain excellent customer relationships while managing member expectations. Ensure pro-active, effective and continuous communication among all team members throughout the life of a project. Create and Maintain thorough documentation, time keeping and reporting of all project activities. Contribute to NGHN’s continuous process and quality improvements by contributing best practices, lessons learned and innovative ideas.
