Public Relations Specialist or Media Relations Expert

Job Description:

PeopleKeys®  is seeking a PR specialist who will use their media contacts to get press releases and articles published in print and online media. The ideal candidate will have established print and online media contacts, media-planning experience, media buying experience, media relations experience and excellent writing and communication skills. Key target industries/areas for which candidate should have contacts and experience are: human resources, medical, education, and sales force development.

Required skills/experience:

5 + yrs Public Relations/Media Relations experience

Established media contacts

Ability to plan and prioritize media calendars

Previous experience with buying media (print, online, tv, etc.)

Experience with pitching stories and persuading editors to publish releases and articles

The ability to develop and synthesize compelling news, stories, and releases

The ability to not just write, but place releases and articles in industry publications

Strong writing and communication skills

 

Bachelor degree or formal training a plus
