Remote Transcriber

Location:        Work remote, Company will provide cassettes through overnight DHL
Duration:        Start August 22, 2008, 40 hours - 4 hours of tape may only take 8-12 hours to transcribe
Work Hours:        Not set

Description:        Experienced Transcriber

Required Skills:

Strong Analytical Skills

Excellent Written Grammar Skills and punctuation

Must proof read work prior to submission

Key strokes of at least 90 words per minute

Works Well In Dynamic, Team-Based Environment

Preferred Skills:

Experience in transcribing from recorded information or notes; and we have audio cassettes that we need transcribed - two cassettes of two hours of multiple people speaking - they would not need to identify the individual speaking just distinguish between the moderator and others.

At least 1 year of experience.

Equipment:        
Individual must provide their own desktop computer/laptop with email and software required to complete the work.  
The ideal candidate will have an eagerness to complete work within a fast-paced schedule.
