We are working with our client in locating an Instructional Designer to redesign three courses, Time Study Certification, Incident Reporting and Positive Behavioral Support. The courses range from Instructor-Led Training, Web-Based Training, job aids, user assigned tasks, and tests.

Time Study Certification Project Description:

The purpose of this two-day training is to provide the participant with an understanding of the Time Study process. This course prepares production staff to conduct time studies for establishing the non-disabled production standard and to accurately measure the productivity of employees with disabilities to these standards. 

Participants will learn: 

�         How and why time studies are performed

�         Understand the time study process

�         Learn about the Department of Labor (DOL) regulations, specifically, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) that pertain to time studies

�         How time studies can help you manage projects

�         How time studies can be used a rehabilitation tool

�         Understand what "disabled for the work" means and why it is critical

�         Learn common violations found in a DOL audit.

�         How to prepare a time study.

Required Skills:

Experience with the ADDIE or equivalent method of instructional design.

Experience working with internal subject matter experts to complete learner analysis and task analysis.

Ability to create courses that do not exceed the eighth grade reading level.

Start Date: September

Duration: 2 months estimated for the first course (Time Study Certification).

Other two courses duration will be determined.

Location: Manassas, VA

Mostly virtual with the first 1-2 weeks onsite.
