Remote Customer Care Agents
This is a Customer Service position with Inbound calls only. Agents work from the ACS call center during training for three months and then work from home answering inbound calls from customers requesting assistance with their travel arrangements online.
Responsibilities:
Using a computerized system, responds to customer inquiries in an at home setting.
May perform one or more of the following:
Responds to telephone inquiries and complaints using standard scripts and procedures.
Gathers information, researches/resolves inquiries and logs customer calls.
Communicates appropriate options for resolution in a timely manner.
Informs customers about services available and assesses customer needs.
Provides functional guidance, training and assistance to lower level staff.
Provides assistance, training and troubleshooting support to lower level staff.
Schedules work to ensures accurate phone coverage; monitors priority of calls and shifts escalated calls to assure resolution to problems.
Prepares standard reports to track workload, response time and quality of input.
Assists in planning and implementing department goals and makes recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to train Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5pm for six weeks of paid classroom training and six weeks on site hands on training before being released to work from home.
Able to provide own high speed cable internet connection.
Must possess a LAN-line phone
Possess advanced internet skills
One to two year of previous inbound call center experience
Able to type 20 words per minute
Exceptional written, verbal, e-mail and problem solving skills
Able to work independently
One year of higher education
Able to work overtime as needed
Ability to take calls from the general public and respond following company policies
START: 9/22/08
TRAINING: 11:00am to 7:30pm, Monday through Friday for six weeks
Six weeks of paid classroom training and six weeks of on site application training
SHIFTS: Varied 2nd and 3rd shift hours available. All shifts include a Saturday or Sunday as part of the regular shifts
