Reports to: Consumer Product Marketing Director

Job Duties:
- Manage relationships w/ freelance writers including brainstorming content ideas, assigning stories, editing copy, asking for revisions, managing invoices and content budget.
- Manage content flow to distribution partners (e.g. AOL).
o Create and manage content calendars.
o Brainstorm content assignments to fit partner requests/needs. Find as much overlap as possible so we can re-purpose stories for multiple uses.
o Sit in on weekly calls to discuss content.
- Track key metrics for major partners (AOL) on a weekly basis – performance of homepage placements, pageviews to PayScale, unique users to PayScale, surveys started, surveys completed.
- Write and manage newsletters, including PayScale Salary News (sent monthly) and any special promotional emails for partners.
- Perform occasional copywriting/copyediting duties as needed for different projects related PayScale’s consumer website.
- Keep Consumer Product Marketing Director informed about content choices, performance metrics, etc.

Qualifications:
- Must have at least three years experience managing online content.
- Must have experience managing relationships with major business partners.
- Must work well under deadline pressure.
- Must have experience managing relationships with freelance writers.
- Excellent writing / editing skills.
- Some knowledge of SEO strongly preferred.
- HTML required.
