Virtual Cerner Millennium FirstNet Support Specialist

We are currently looking for a CERNER MILLENNIUM FIRSTNET SUPPORT SPECIALIST to join our team in PLANO, TEXAS.

*The ideal candidate will posses the required skills and will reside in the Plano, Texas geographic area.

Job Responsibilities:

  Provide support for Cerner Millennium FirstNet

  Act as a liaison between the local Cerner customer resources and Cerner support

  Responsible for system administration for Cerner FirstNet and related modules, including enhancements for new screens, pathways, tests, services, methods and testing and implementation of software upgrades or changes

  Responsible for the end user support on the Cerner FirstNet system and working closely with the end users and vendors to resolve problems

  Assist in capitalizing on clinical business development opportunities with both current and potential customers

  Identifies, analyzes, and evaluates alternative design solutions

Required Skills:

  Experience supporting clinical information systems

  Experience supporting Millennium FirstNet and Event Set Hierarchy skills is preferred, and required for remote work from home candidates

  A minimum of 3 plus years experience in a healthcare acute care setting, an RN would be ideal

  Have a full understanding of troubleshooting, implementation, project management and client support

  must have excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills


Desired Skills:

  Experience with other Cerner Millennium applications strongly desired

  Prior system support experience

Minimum Educational Requirements:

  Bachelor's Degree or related industry

Minimum Certifications or Other Professional Credentials:

  Cerner Certifications are desired
