Home Based Ruby on Rails Developer

How would you like to use your Ruby skills to make the world a better, healthier place?

Gyminee is the premier fitness social network for detailed tracking, online accountability, and motivation. We are built on top of Ruby on Rails, and we need another rockstar developer to join our team. The technology is fun, we have a lot to do, and you can use your code to make this world a better place. We are growing fast, and need a few more developers on our team.

We need someone that is creative, passionate, dependable, and likes being part of a small, rapidly-moving team. Our ideal candidate will have experience building web apps, an eye for good design, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Here is what we are looking for:

- You need to have extensive experience developing Ruby on Rails web apps.

- You need to be proficient with HTML, CSS, Javascript, cross browser compatibility (design skills are a plus)

- You should have the ability work in a small, geographically-distributed team using IM, voice chat, etc.

- You should have examples of web apps that you have built in the past and/or contributions to open source Ruby/Rails projects

- You should have experience with scaling rapidly-growing websites

- You should like Macs

Bonus points: You should be into fitness, working out, and healthy living. If you have also built native iPhone apps, you go to the top of our hire list.
