Telecommute SAP ABAP Consultant
Provide ABAP programming in both project settings and ongoing operational support roles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Writing new and modify existing ABAP reports, user exits, and BADIs.
2. Troubleshoot and analyze ABAP reporting issues.
3. Develop technical specifications from functional design specifications.
4. Write and execute technical test scripts.
5. Work closely with Functional consultants during development of solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Four year degree with an emphasis on information technology.
Experience in SAP IS-U/CCS module.
SAP development experience in ECC 5.0 / 6.0 utilizing the new SAP NetWeaver ABAP and Java stack technologies.
Experience with other programming languages, such as C, C++, Java, XML, HTML and UNIX Shell.
Strong communication skills required; written, verbal, and strong interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to travel to client site as needed.
NOTES:
-contract to hire most likely, possibility to go full time down the road
-Supporting Pinellas County and City of Toledo projects
-mid to Sr. level candidate preferred
-5+ years minimum
-CCS Utilities platform a huge plus
-virtual position with very little travel, under 20% travel
-will be called on for support, development fixes, and new projects
