Work from Home Embedded Linux Developer

Local company has a number of positions available for Embedded Linux Developers.

Currently we have positions in the Boston area but will consider applicants who would work remotely from other locations.

You have:

Solid C++ programming skills

Solid experience with embedded systems, preferably embedded Linux

Experience with Qt or Qtopia, low-level Linux programming, object-oriented programming skills and/or GUI experience are also helpful

Excellent command of written and spoken English

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Good insight into all aspects of software development process

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills

A proven track record working on large commercial or Open source software projects

You are:

Self-motivated combined with a proven ability to work well in distributed teams

Able to learn quickly and willing to share knowledge

Flexible, enjoying a fast-changing, unpredictable environment

You will:

Design, develop, code, test, document, and support software running on Qt for Embedded Linux. The tasks may range from Linux kernel programming for new hardware devices to development of graphical applications

Be part of a distributed development team

You may be required to attend customer meetings
