The Opportunity

MDB has offices in Washington, DC, and Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC. We are seeking quick-thinking, technically versatile self-starters in both our RTP and DC locations who can provide web editing services in support of our Government clients. The ideal candidate has good organizational skills, the ability to problem-solve, the ability/willingness to see projects through to completion, is deadline-oriented, and can adapt to client-specified styles and guidelines.

MDB is responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, and operational support of the client’s web technology infrastructure. The primary job function for this position is to maintain the client’s websites. This will include projects to design, code, test, and implement new and modified content.

This position is a permanent, full-time position. Salary range will range from $35,000 to $40,000 annually, depending on experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Educational Requirements

• Knowledge of HTML, web servers, FTP
• Dreamweaver Software
• Ability to edit PDF files for Section 508 compliance
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and adjust to shifting priorities
• XHTML and CSS experience are highly desirable
• Familiarity with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s web guidelines is highly desirable
• 1-2 years of related experience
• AA/AS in Computer Science or related field
