Telecommute Part-Time Editor/Writer

Salary: BOE

This is a part-time position.

We are looking for a part-time editor/writer who is:

- Fluent in American English

- Experienced with the Associated Press styles of writing/editing

- Experienced with editing and news writing

- Available Monday through Friday from 6am EST-8am EST

If you do not meet all of the above requirements, please do not apply as we will only consider applicants who can successfully fill this position immediately. We need an editor for short (2-3 paragraphs) federal contracts and other daily brief items that come in. We expect consistency, accuracy, a quick turn around and an editor who has an eye for detail and an understanding of news-related writing and processes.

We are looking for people in very specific time zones. U.S.-based applicants are *not* ideal for this position. The time zone you're in should be at least 5-12 hours *ahead* of the Eastern time zone. Qualified applicants in these zones will be given preference as it will better fit our needs for this position.
