CareerApple has just launched its alpha version career portal that is focused on inspiring people to find their career passion. The content on the site showcases original content from career experts and inspiration content from people profiled on the site.

About the position:

This is a paid telecommuting contract position.

The position primarily involves writing profiles (people/career detail, please see the website) through interviews in a pre-defined format. The profiles have to be inspiring through stories and anecdotes that enable the reader to connect to the person and of course have factual details about the career. The ideal candidate has the following skills:

• Writing Ability: Able to interview effectively and then write inspirational profiles to showcase on the site; someone who can write like Studs Terkel would be perfect!

• Networking: Has a large social network online through facebook, twitter etc that can be taped into for the profiles

• Gets social networking

• Work ethic: can deliver content on time; keeps all appointments; takes critiques well
