This is a real job, not an envelope-stuffing Internet-scam-job. But to do this job you really need experience and some good chops. A cover letter that connects us—and it doesn't have to be fancy—is a real plus.

We have an immediate need for a customer service person who can work from their home. You must have a quiet workspace, a high-speed Internet connection, and be computer/Internet savvy.

You are well spoken, well organized, detail oriented, and responsible to a fault. You are able to put yourself in the customer's shoes and work with them until their problem has been resolved. You are able to wear different hats on the same day and change them quickly, when necessary. You are not afraid of very basic accounting procedures. You are able to work independently but also as a member of our small, friendly team.

Our training is thorough—and we are patient—so you will understand the varied tasks and how they fit together. We know our business and will show you the ropes. You will handle customer requests that can lead to twists and turns and research. You will carefully prepare and submit orders to our equipment suppliers and make sure they match the customer's intention. You will learn how to generate monthly reports and will become proficient at deciphering the customer's monthly bill.

Payment is by the hour and the rate will be determined by your experience. The weekly hours can vary widely depending on how busy we are.
