Remote Financial Reporting Manager

· BS degree, CPA highly desired.

· 3-5 years experience an/or training in financial reporting required. SEC reporting experience highly desired.

· Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.

· Proficiency using MS Office required; Experience with MS PowerPoint and Hyperion helpful.

· Exceptional Written and Oral communication skills required.

Candidate will oversee and assist in the completion of the weekly reporting requirements for both the consolidation income statement and the SVP Area of Operations Reports. Oversee the completion of the manual adjustment templates for the Company Standard Reports database and any maintenance needed on the Hyperion views of that database; Oversee and assist in preparation of all drafts of the quarterly and annual financial reports on form 10-Q and 10K. This will include the preparation of the face of the financial statements and the preparation and/or review of footnotes and related workpapers. Oversee and assist in preparation of other SEC filings, including certain Form 8-K’s and Form 4’s required under the Section 16 rules; Oversee the HTML conversion and transmittal of all SEC fillings to the EDGAR database; Responsible for preparation of certain equity compensation disclosures based on the proficient use of Equity Edge, the Company’s equity compensation database; Assistance with technical research of new accounting literature and/or treatment of business transactions Financial Reporting Manager needed for Roanoke VA Company. Candidates within 3 hours of the Roanoke office may telecommute and come to office on weekly or possibly biweekly basis.
