Offsite Web Developer

Are you proficient in the writing or use of table-less XHTML, CSS, sHTML or CGI? How about dynamic server technologies such as Perl, PHP, Java Servlets or Ruby on Rails?

If you have experience with any of these, we'd like to hear from you.

Several projects are available, ranging from simple updates to a few html pages to full blown website redesign. We are looking for individuals with various levels of experience, from developers who can do simple coding to advanced engineers who can do major projects (planning/design/implementation).

Examples of the web applications our jobs require include:

1) modernizing the look of a site with a streamlined/clean web 2.0 template that's easily customizable

2) dynamic server generated picture galleries with ability to adjust image resolution based on the resolution of the client's screen or browser size

3) wiki-like content management systems with various access rights and authentication protocol for different users

4) e-commerce retail sites that allow the client to upload new content and allow shoppers to search and browse select product dimensions

We are seeking candidates with a variety of preferences regarding the back-end technologies, development tools, web hosting services and site trial methods with which they work. We are looking for effective deployment methods and approaches to specific tasks that are both efficient and creative.
