POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Embedded System Developer who is familiar with and has implemented wireless mesh networks. Experience with OpenWRT, Debian, or commercial embedded OS, and 802.11N, OLSR, BATMAN, 802.11s would be desirable. We are looking for someone with a passion for the technology, who will be responsible for the product, and it’s development future. .

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop short and long term product plans.

Develop specific project specifications.

Create schedules and resource plans.

Track project schedules.

Handle multiple products at the same time.

Perform highly technical reviews of solutions and code

.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Degree in Computer Science with experience in operating systems, drivers or equivalent work experience.

Development experience with embedded systems.

Must have worked on at least 1 shipping product.

2+ years of Development lead experience.

Code review experience.

OpenWRT experience.

Wireless systems experience.

2+ years of C/C++

Code review experience.

Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP, routing, firewalling, and traffic shaping

Fundamental understanding of embedded hardware selection, antennae selection, and Wireless Mesh

.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong Linux skills.

C/ C++.

Database skills, object store databases, and SQL.

Scripting languages.

Python, C# desirable.
