Remote Software Packager

Duration: 3-6 months plus

Location: MD (Work may be performed via a Virtual location. (Home Office) )

US citizenship required. (Government project)

******WORK SHOULD BE PERFORMED DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS WITH SOME FLEXIBILITY****

Provide technical software packaging to Client End User Services (EUS) program internally & to external programs. Responsibilities include participating in teams and adhering to established process to manage the Client Systems Management Infrastructure (SMI), deploying critical software patches, deploying commercial PC software packages, managing the discovery of new systems, and participating in projects. Candidate works under general direction, following established procedures. Candidate exercises latitude of moderate scope in determining technical approaches to solutions. Completed work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment and overall adequacy. Experience with software packaging tools related to WISE and Altiris required.

Job Qualifications:

Must have strong end user computing background, WISE, software packaging, process and documentation skills. Candidate must be able to complete multiple assigned tasks at a high quality within time frame and scope. Must be interact with customers to gather further requirements if needed.

B.S. Degree in Information Systems or other IT related discipline preferred. Five plus yrs related IT experience required.
