Remote Video Shooting/Editing Production/Pre& Post
I am looking for someone to edit and shoot short (4 to 20 min) videos either at my home, office or at the company in Glendale, CA. I have an HD camcorder and lighting/wireless mic, etc. or you can use your equipment.
Your job would be to edit video and shoot at location or at my home/studio. The editing may be possible to do at your home or my PC and sent to me. Each video may have differing needs.
What I am looking for:
1. Shoot and edit each video. Linking a PDFdoc to be printed as a summary of the information.
2. Able to insert text while incorporating background verbal or visual instructions.
3. PLEASE NO MUSIC videos...
4. A workable link to your work
The videos are being used as a education for company training.
This will then need to be downloaded to me for PC upload.
Skills
Shooting - clean with a Zen feel Editing skills (my camcorder a new HD Sanyo Xacti camcorder (8 gig SD)came with Nero essentials 7 editing software).
I am NOT looking for any sort of high end TV/film producer. This job is ideal for someone who can take a good home HD camcorder, has understanding of lighting and sound and editing as well as good people skills, and wants to make some extra side cash.
Schedule should be flexible and open. If you have a full time gig this may work, but may not if I need you to be behind the camera.
PAYMENT: You would be paid per minute of viewable video. We expect to do 10 over the course of 6 months (some can be shot in the same day) starting before February 2009.
NOTE: It is very important that the person hired for this also have good customer service manners. You would be an extension of our company (if you go on site to shoot). If you were to shoot the video as well (pay will be increased. But mostly the editing and this may be able to be done at your PC.
