Remote Marketing Representative

Marketing Individual needed for local Nonprofit Organization serving pet owners.

Formed over 8 years ago by licensed veterinarians, SNAP-NC was the first Mobile Low-Cost Spay-Neuter service in the State of North Carolina. Today, we remain the most highly respected program and have the most experienced staff. We remain the ONLY mobile private non-profit group and therefore offer the most reasonable prices in the triangle region. Our mission is to address pet overpopulation issues in our state by providing low-cost spay-neuter services to those in need of financial assistance. Seeking a business savvy individual with fresh ideas and nonprofit experience to:

    * Generate clients in need of low cost spay-neuter services.

    * Build name recognition and awareness of our low cost spay neuter program within the 12 counties that we serve.

    * Determine what areas are in most need of our service and create awareness in those areas

    * Differentiate SNAP-NC from similar programs by creating a branding program.

    * Contact local news/media organizations to promote SNAP-NC

    * Plan and carry out capital campaigns

    * Create newsletters, signage and handouts with creative ideas for fundraising

    * Work with area organizations to create partnerships addressing pet overpopulation through spay-neuter.

Applicant must have

    * Self-initiative and be comfortable talking on the phone and in person.

    * Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus!

    * Veterinary experience a plus, but not required. A passion for animals is!

    * 20 +/- hours per week; flexible work location (work at home OK).

    * Strong customer service and communication skills.

    * Self motivated

    * Must support the SNAP-NC mission.
