Application Developer - Specialist Must have MUMPS and IDX Experience
US Citizenship and Lawful Permanent resident is preferred
Job Responsibilities:
This position is a remote position, the resource can be based anywhere in the US. Please note they must have IDX and MUMPS experience.
The responsibility of this position will be to maintain and support IDX applications on a day-to-day basis. Support new project development which including system analysis, planning and preparation, coding, testing, and implementation. Support ongoing maintenance of hospital utilized applications and client coordination. Provide production support, by being on-call, carrying a pager, and remote dial-in and onsite support as necessary to keep systems operational. Develop, support and maintain system documentation and procedures as needed.
+ years supporting IDX application experience in a comprehensive manner. This includes but is not limited to knowledge of current platforms, software tools and methodologies. 5+ years programmer/analyst experience Experienced with programming languages COBOL, MUMPS/CACHE, Visual Basic, Familiar with OpenVMS operating system Strong problem solving and analytical skills along with the ability to report status to leads and customers Desired Skills: Hands-on experience performing data maintenance Knowledge of Hospital applications such as IDX BAR, SCHED, EDI, and Claim process
