Job Overview:

Identify, develop and close new business for professional service solutions for Madison Sterns, Inc.

The Consulting Sales Director role is a senior-level sales/business development executive position with increasing leadership responsibilities within the region reporting to the senior partner in the region.

You will develop the market, new business for our company in this region.

You will hire additional sales staff as you grow business in this area.

This role will feature home-office flexibility, requiring excellent organization, seasoned work ethic/discipline and superior time management skills.

Job Description:

Report directly to senior partner(s), work with directors and senior managers to develop sales strategies, sales targets for the local market/geography, consistent with regional business development goals.

Execute on the developed strategies by driving sales to meet agreed targets.

Manage pipeline opportunities and execution, next steps.

Serve as primary liaison to the client (sales and relationship mgt.)

Perform oversight/engagement mgt. over your client's delivery teams.

Hire, lead and retain capable, competent and talented sales managers and associates.

Develop competitive strategic and creative selling techniques and/or initiatives.

Ensure continued growth of opportunities with existing and repeat clients.

Job Requirements:

5 to 10 years sales experience required, with SMB and enterprise contacts/rolodex.

Services experience in the consulting, staffing and/or IT industry a huge plus.

Prior consulting services firm experience (big four or top/mid-tier) is desirable.

Technology company contacts (Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, HP, etc) highly desirable.

This position can work from home and needs excellent time mgt. and organization skills.

Bachelors degree required. MBA or other advanced degree a plus.

Excellent verbal and written communications skills, great people skills a must.
