As opposed to Gilt, Ideeli, Hautelook, Rue la la and other competitors, our members and followers are linked by us directly to the branded e-commerce sites operated by our brand accounts and they place their purchases directly with them.

Director of Marketing / Membership

The ideal candidate is a proven marketing specialist with the knowledge to unlock the potential of the major social networks (Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Linkedin, etc.), a compelling understanding of SEO/SEM and all aspects of internet marketing, a solid background in PR with strong industry contacts and both B2C and B2B skill sets. Candidate will develop, oversee and execute member / follower acquisition programs, member / follower retention programs, referral enhancement programs, brand building programs and programs in support of new revenue streams. The Candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, a solid fashion sensibility, a keen understanding of all aspects of traditional and internet marketing dynamics, a strong drive to succeed, the ability to deliver results on time and within budget consistently and a total self-starter approach.

Qualifications and Ideal Attributes
College Degree (BA minimum, MBA preferred) - Smart, methodical, analytical, polished
Proven Internet Marketing Savvy - Thorough knowledge of and experience with all current web marketing tools
10 years of marketing /sales experience - Knowledgeable, proven and effective pro
Proven success in B2C and B2B - Track record of consistent achievement
Highly Computer Skilled - Broad knowledge of major software programs, self-sustaining, web expert
Results oriented - Organized, goal driven, self directed, a deal closer
Productive Home Office set-up - Dedicated area with no distractions, self disciplined, highly focused
Positive / Progressive Attitude - Team player, solution seeker, mature attitude, good sense of humor

We have a small but powerful executive team based in NYC yet operating as a virtual company utilizing shared and compatible software / hardware support systems, daily conference calls and physical meetings as and when necessary. Our team has a positive attitude and good vibes so we want a team player who will fit in well.
